This week P1 learned the t and the p sound. We had lots of different phonics activities set up through the week. In Maths, P1 have been practising counting and matching numbers.

P2 have been working on sentence writing and numbers to 100.

This week we have been starting the day with Yoga. Yesterday we took part in Pokemon yoga and today we started our day with some Superhero moves.

What fun we had this week when we attended a workshop run by the Drama Box.

Today we looked at the “a” sound. We sang our Jolly Phonics song about ants on our arm and learned the action. We watched Mr Macleod’s friend Geraldine the Giraffe on the SMART Board and used apples to print pattern using green and red paint.

P1 have been learning their first sound this week. We started with the S sound. Today we posted pictures beginning with the S sound into Sammie the Snake’s mouth and made hanging snakes.

The P1 class photo will take place tomorrow afternoon.
